I've got an extened stay in japan lined up.
I have seen that the plug type is the same as what was included in my ipod package.
My question:

I have seen that the little black square that comes along with it is a POWER converter as well as plug adapter. Is this correct?

If it IS correct, has anyone been able to simply plug and recharge their ipod in japan with no problem?
