Hey everyone. I've been in Korea now for two monhs and have realized that, silly me, none of the clothes fit me. How tall am I? 6'5". It's not that I didn't pack, far from it. I have enough clothing with me to last me the year I'm here. But I do like to shop and look around at what is available. Does anyone know if there are any tall clothing store in Busan, which is where I'm at? It would be much appreciated.

P.S. I managed to find a pair of flip flops for my hagwon....lucky me!

Cheers

I've heard the E-Mart in Busan is three stories high and sells clothes. Wink

You're probably going to have to survive on jeans from home and taylor-made shirts and pants from a clothing store. Luckily, those are cheaper here.

Ok, ill check out E-Mart. I also have several tailoring shops near where I live so that's a good idea as well. Thanks for the input!!

Take an empty suitcase with you next time you head home and stock up. Big and tall clothes here are for shite, and forget about shoes.

i dont know about busan, but you can ask a korean friend about ordering online... i think theres a site called wizwid and they import foriegn clothes. also costco *sometimes* has western sizes instead of asian sizes (is there a costco in busan?)

otherwise when you visit seoul next hit itaewon and shop it up.

Shops in Itaewon blow unless you want to dress like a hip hop wannbe late bloomer. Tailored suits are ok, but to be honest you'll get the same or better quality for cheaper with designer names off the rack in N. America or H.K.

You might get lucky at the shirt shop near Pizza Hut, but usually not for those of us with 36/37 sleeve lengths.
