i was expecting them to play for about half an hour before either fighting one another or deciding that korea wasn't worthy of their full attentions and buggering off.. well, they played almost every song i wanted to hear (except whatever) and liam... well, his arrogance is a sight to behold. great show!
so many waygook faces in the crowd so i'm sure a few of them read this board.. what did you all think? |

Indeed, a masterclass performance from the moody Mancs. Playing loads of old stuff was an absolutely brilliant idea and I think they judged their audience pretty well.
Yep, Liam's still an arrogant litle pr%*& but don't we just love it! Though, in my opinion, Noel's solo segments stole the show...The Masterplan, Don't Look Back in Anger.
Anybody who thinks that Liam's Songbird - "It's a song... about me bird" - is superior to The Importance of Being Idle, raise your hand now.
Yea, I didn't think so either. |

Hmm, expectd a few more comments by now, given the number of foreigners in the audience.
Quick question
Who were the Korean(?) band playing warm-up? I arrived halfway through their set and didn't hear their name being announced at any time. They sounded pretty decent. It's not often that you get to hear decent female guitarists in this corner of the world, so it was a welcome surprise. |

So what was the banter like between songs? Liam usually comes up with some funny/random stuff.
I heard an interview with Noel about two weeks ago and tbh it didn't seem as though he couldn't really be arsed going to korea. Was he all sullen?
Also how many people turned up? Was the arena full to capacity? |

...dont really remember either of them saying too much - noels only comment concerning korea (from what i can recall) was "we dont come here very often, so i spose we'll see u again in another 12 yrs"
liam on the other hand was just doing his best Ian Brown impression.
great gig though, i was impressed with both Oasis and the korean crowd (looked full to me) which together managed to get the whole venue pretty rockin' |
