|
|
Hi, for some reason I'm no longer getting sound on my internet.
Can anyone tell me what to do to fix it?
Let me be specific.
I can listen to CDs. I can listen to iTunes. I cannot hear sound on flash games and videos, at least on say, JibJab.com and tomorrowsnobodies. I cannot hear sound on Pandora.com.
I used to be able to do all these things.
Now all of a sudden there is no sound. None. My volume is all the way up, where applicable, the website's volume selector is all the way up, and nothing comes out. Nada. Not a peep.
If I put a CD in though, I can play that fine.
I couldn't find such a help topic on the flash website, and I've already tried reinstalling flash.
I can't find sound, audio, or volume under internet browser help.
This problem exists in ie and firefox browsers.
Any clue what the problem might be? |

wild guess ... ?
I'd say flash uses a different sound daemon to the other programs ... it's a common problem on linux.
Although you'll never get deep enough into a windows system to actually be able to hack it. There's almost certainly a user forum out there that can help you with this.
eslcafe isn't that forum though I'd imagine.... |

Download the Flash 8 player again if you haven't already. |

Yes, but it was working fine a while ago.
Why would it have changed? My OS hasn't.
Could this be a viral problem? |
