News just in on EFL-Law(in the free forums). Jeff Lebow just emailed EFL-Law to say that PusanWeb has been hacked , including the family of sites, DaeguGuide, DaejeonWeb, Koreabridge, etc...

The whole server looks to have been reformatted and if so, all content may be unretrievable, unless people were backing up the different sites to their hard drives.

They suspect it could have originated out of China, due to Jeff's Tibet sites.

Thing is - there's really not much you can do to stop these guys ad infinitum. If they want to get in then they will . The only way to completely secure a computer is to plug it out.

Boards like this one have so many user input points that it's hard to keep track of them. I wasn't too familiar with busanguide, but it seemed to me that he was writing his own code as well. That's probably not a good idea unless you are very experienced in that kinda thing from a security point of view.

If the guy really wants to run Tibet sites, then he should set them up on their own server somewhere away from his money making business.

Anyway I wish him the best and I hope he gets a recent backup uploaded to his site soon enough.
