Was it a fair representation of the "greatest music rock music" in the world.
Does anyone have info about upcoming B.B. King dates and tickets? Thanks in advance.

I heard BB King was making another tour.
Is Seoul a stop? I read somewhere that his itinerary till August is still in the States.

Simply put: Yes.

They're the last great hope for rock n roll.

Forget about BB King. The greatest band in Seoul is playing THIS WEEKEND.

The concert was fantastic, I was really impressed. And the best part was the friendly scalper who made it possible for me to get in. Oh, and whoever didn't sit in the better seats that we grabbed.

And even the opening act was... interesting. Lady Marmalade? Anyhow.

If anyone can remember the Oasis setlist, I'd appreciate it being posted. Much of it has slipped my mind, but I'd like to burn a mix to remember the night.

...this isnt the exact set-list from the night, however Oasis have been touring for months now, and they play almost the same set each gig - it usually goes something along the lines of...

(Fuckin In The Bushes), Turn Up the Sun, Lyla, Bring It On Down, Morning Glory, Cigarettes & Alcohol, The Importance of Being Idle, The Masterplan, Songbird, A Bell Will Ring, Acquiesce, Live Forever, Mucky Fingers, Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, Rock'n'Roll Star
Guess God Thinks I'm Abel, The Meaning Of Soul, Don't Look Back In Anger, My Generation

from what i can remember, this looks pretty accurate with maybe a couple of songs added/deleted or switched around...

Here's the playlist as posted on a Korean site. From what I remember, it's pretty accurate:

1.Fucking in the Bushes
2.Turn up the sun
3.Lyla
4.Bring it on Down
5.(What's The Story)Morning Glory?
6.Cigarettes & Alcohol
7.The Importance Of Being Idle
8.Masterplan
9.A Bell Will Ring
10.Acquiesce
11.Mucky Fingers
12.Songbird
13.Live Forever
14.Wonderwall
15.Champagne Supernova
16.Rock 'n' Roll Star

encore
17.Guess God Think I'm Abel
18.The Meaning of Soul
19.Don't Look Back In Anger
20.My Generation

Many great songs, but also they left out a few classics which goes to show just how large their back catalogue is. Noteable exceptions include:

Whatever: Almost a Christmas Number 1. Unique.
Stand by me: All the Koreans around me were calling for this and if they'd done some research, they'd have found it to be one of the most popular Oasis songs in Korea (see the noraebang playlists).
You know what I mean: Always sounds good when played live.
Columbia: Great guitar beat that has the crowd bouncing.
Supersonic: Their first big hit.
Roll with it: The first single from 'What's the Story' which went up against Blur's 'Country House' in the battle of the bands back in 1995.
Some might say: Simply a great song.
Let there be love: One of my favourites from the new album. I saw a video of Liam lip-synching to this in Germany, which I didn't think they did. Maybe it's too high for him to do live.
Half the world away: I just thought I'd include this, as they'd never play it in concert. It's a brilliant song which some of you might remember from 'The Royle Family'.

If they'd played every famous song, it would've lasted three hours. As it was, they mixed the new with the old very well. In particular, I enjoyed 'The Masterplan', 'Morning Glory', 'Rock and Roll Star' and 'The Importance of Being Idle'. It was all good though.
