Sometimes you ask your friend, "Are you hungry?" and they look at their watch to see what time it is to know if they are hungry or not. I think some people are that way about the changing seasons, too. Warm temperatures and flowers bursting out all over are irrelevant. But now it's official. The Spring Equinox is here.

Yes, I saw fosythia today, and flowering quince. the shrub trees at the edge of campus were sporting tiny new green leaves.

And I saw a young couple kissing in public.

Must be spring.

That doesn't mean squat!!! I have seen people kissing in public all 4 seasons of the year!!! Big old deal!!!
