who cares? Elvis sucked the last couple of years in Vegas, overweight and drunk half the time.

James Brown is a living legend.

To be able to say in the year 2030: "Yeah I saw the Godfather of Soul perform live, in Korea of all places."

That will have cachet, even if you don't give a hoot about things like that.

Now James Brown is a concert I'd travel to Seoul just to see. But.. I'll be in the US at that time. Damn. I don't feel good!

Btw, anyone heard the James Brown interviews that Howard Stern did? So hilarious. He's really out there (James Brown, I mean).

I saw the "Napoleon of the stage" in '02. It was a decent show. Excuse me while I kiss myself.

D'oh. I'll be in China.

I saw James Brown in June back in the states, believe me, you won't be disappointed. I think he's in his 70s but he still puts on a killer show.

Err, isn't that Maceo Parker in that pic? He split from James Brown eons ago. Still, I would dig seeing James Brown. He'll probably play here in Fukuoka and tickets will be about a million yen...
