He had two goals and a fight. If he had played like this at the olympics Canada just might have done better. who am i kidding of course we would have done better. |

Sakic did squat at the olympics too.
Iginla and Sakic together were expected to repeat their magic from '02.
They didn't. |

Guys, guys guys.
The Swiss team didn't just beat Canada, they beat the Czechs too.
They play great defense with great goaltending. And managed three goals against the Czechs too.
The St. Louis Blues doesn't have the goaltending quality, defensive reputation nor the competitive fire.
That said, guys like Iginla, Sakic and Thornton are looking good back in the NHL again. makes you wonder how come NONE of them could turn it on at the Olympics. |
