I tried to see if this topic was listed but there were too many results to filter through so I'm sorry if this was posted before.
Basically this is just to inform people who are in the Chicago Land area. If you want to get your degree notarized at the Korean Embassy, bring a copy of your passport with you. I don't know why they needed this, but they just said it was their policy and luckily I had a copy of it in my car. Otherwise I would've wasted all morning driving downtown and waiting in line for half-an hour.
So maybe someone out there will benefit from this message.

Does anyone know of once you send in all your info for immigration, and you receive your job offer, can you go to any Korean Consulate to get your visa stamp?
I currently live in FL, but will be on the move for a few weeks before heading to Korea. Basically, I can stop at the consulate in Atlanta, DC, New Yor, or Chicago. |
