My laptop had some major issues (some of which I posted about), so I sent it to the manufacturer to be fixed. They forgot to charge me, which was nice because it needed a lot of work. Unfortunately they also forgot to fix the one thing that most drove me insane --

the fan is almost constantly on, and it is LOUD. Before these troubles started the fan was rarely on and the computer ran silent as the grave. Since I'm leaving for Korea soon and don't have time to ship it off to California again, what needs to be done? I remember the manufacturer telling me the fan needed to be re-calibrated or something, but frankly the guy who told me that was obviously a pretty dim bulb.
