I just got back from a trip to Eastern Europe and decided to wait until I got back to exchange my cash. Oops. No bank here or back in the States will exchange Romanian or Bulgarian currencies. So I'm stuck with about $85 US of each that I can't seem to get rid of.
If anyone is heading to either or both of these places and would like to exchange currency before going, please contact me. It's not much, but in these two countries a little bit goes a long way.
You can contact me at [email protected] for more info. |

That's strange, I had no problem exchanging Bulgarian money in Sweden. I did it all at my local exchange shop there and got better rates than the airport in Sofia. |

While you are on the topic of exchanging money, make sure you don't take any Kip home from Laos. Kip is not traded on any foreign market and is virtually impossible to exchange outside of the country. |
