I am working at a really good Hogwon, I know its hard to believe, whats even harder to believe is that some 1st timer had a job with us for in April but has pulled out. Our teacher that is leaving is going home to Oz and the agency is sending us rubbish applicants.
I don't want to have to work with someone just to fill the viod so if anyone knows of anyone whose contract is up are wanting to stay around get in touch.

Or if you know of a quicker way than the agency process I'd love to know.

Thanks

You could try posting on www.worknplay.co.kr or www.englishspectrum.com. I used those websites when I was searching for jobs. Might be beneficial to you.

pay depends on the years you've taught over here.
kids are from first school through to high school.
Working week is mon-friday 2.30 til 10.30 but at moment i have plenty of good breaks and the housing is just round the back of the school.
Classes are standardised as a basic but you are expected to make it fun for the kids. If your imaginative its a great job, if not you'll be board.

The best way to get a teacher on short notice is to wait at the airport for some blank faced looking foreigner to arrive. Ask them if they are the English teacher...if they say yes you tell them you are here to pick them up and take them to the school. Saves the school airfare Laughing
