I made a post a couple days ago about wanting to earn my private pilot license. It looks like Hankuk University in Ilsan has a flight program, but I am not sure if they are willing to: 1) train foreigners, and 2) can i just go through the training and not actually be a student of the university?
Here is a link to their website:
http://mercury.hangkong.ac.kr/ftc/entrance/01.htm
There is a link on the left side with 'training only' but it requests an ID and password, so I can't get any more info.
I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could help me out with this. Thank you. |

I'll give you a hand...i am not quite fluent but it has what you need on the right side so i'll interpret that as it is easy enough...
There are 6 conditions...
1. You must be born AFTER the 1st of November 1977
2. People who graduated from Uni(4years) or who are going to in Feb. 2006(any major is OK)
3. In the case of men those who fulfill military service or are exempted can only apply...
4. You must pass(or have passed) a physical test that is under Aero law regulation 95 and must have almost perfect eyesight(like 19.5/20 vision) without contact lenses or glasses(those who have had LASIC surgery cannot apply)
5. You must not have had any reasons for being disqualified for flying
6. You must have a TOEIC score of at least 750, G-TELP LEVEL 2 score of 69 or G-TELP LEVEL 3 score of 92
Anyway, in summery it says nothing about foreigners not applying but by the looks you must have gone to a 4 year Korean university, have served military service here and have done a TOEIC test... |
