i've never seen any. daegu is way behind in alot of things... but if you are going to look, you' probably have the best chance at one of the major hotels....or maybe around Camp Walker. |

Not to totally hijack this thread, but I'm wondering if there is a general tobacco shop in Daegu that sells imported brands of smokes. The smokes they sell here are way too light, including Marlboros, and those are made in Korea and don't have that nice American taste which I love so much. |

I checked the first site you gave. Have you ordered from them before? More expensive than what I have paid in Seoul (for Montecristos at least) |

I have ordered many times. More expensive than Seoul? Where were you buying them and how much did you pay? |

I pick up the Monte. Tubos for 15,000 won at the Hamilton Hotel. On the first site you gave it would work out to about 20,000 per.
All I've ever smoked are Mont.Tubos and Monte#2. What do you go for? I wouldn't mind trying something new. |

I'd be willing to bet you had the petit tubos which sell for about 7120 each and are 1 1/8" shorter than the tubos. (I could be wrong though) I've bought at the Hamilton with her 'special discount' and generally her prices are higher than the website.
I'm more of a robusto man so I usually order the San Luis Rey Regio or the El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme. The latter is a bit stronger.
We'll have to have a Dave's cigar get-together sometime. Cohiba, another poster on Dave's, gave me the heads-up on the internet sites. |

Actually, I think the Montecristo tubos advertised on puroexpress are priced for 25 in a box instead of ten. The other site has the same tubos (25 per box) for $235. This works out to about 10,000 won a piece. |

You are right, the ones I have are the smaller kind. |
