N.K. missile test shows 'quantum leap' in technology: commander
North Korea has made a "quantum leap" in its missile technology by improving accuracy and mobility, as seen in its recent test, U.S. military leaders said Thursday.

Gen. Burwell Bell, commander of the U.S. Forces Korea, testified Tuesday at a Senate hearing that the North now appears ready to field and test intermediate-range missiles that could reach as far as Alaska. The testimony proves that Pyongyang is devoting itself to building up its missile capabilities despite the recent thaw in mood on the peninsula.
