Might as well post a copy of that short article:
SEOUL, March 16 (Yonhap) -- A South Korean woman was arrested Thursday on suspicion of setting fire to a wooden training facility at the U.S. military headquarters in Seoul, which injured three people, police said.
The fire, which broke out at 1:39 a.m. Thursday at Yongsan Garrison, quickly spread and burned down four other U.S. command buildings, before it was contained three hours later, police officials said...
So, five buildings were destroyed, three people were injured, and who knows how many people were up all night battling the fires. If guilty she should get a traditional Korean public ass-beating in addition to jail time (... more likely she'll be held up as a positive role-model and be emulated...) |

Now they are saying she was 'mentally ill'....and therefore not responsible. That seems to be a common defense. I'll wait and see the outcome of the investigation. It certainly put a hurt on the ability to perform maintenance tasks around the area. |

I've heard this 'mentally ill' canard so many times it's beginning to drive me crazy. |

strange how koreans refuse to admit that mental illness exists here, except when trying to get out of trouble. |
