What i find intrigueing about this official N.K. Govt news site is not the amount of propaganda, but the sheer good standard of English- much better than what you see on many South Korean govt. sites.

The hot story up there right now apparently:
"PYONGYANG, February 11 (KCNA)— The United States is now busy spreading fictions about the smuggling of fake cigarettes and smuggling of drugs in a bid to achieve a sinister purpose"

I'm assuming these stories, even if they are translations, are written for non-Koreans, or at least non-North Koreans. There seem to be quite a few mentions of Japanese displeasure over the "abduction issue", and I doubt that's something the average North Korean is ever told about. |

Seems to be targetted at Americans and South koreans.
"Minju Joson urges the South Korean authorities to decisively break with the foreign aggressor forces and join all other Koreans taking the patriotic road of reunification in unity." |

I'm sure there would be enough University students to put that number in the thousands. |
