Does anyone else here get really bored sometimes? How do you kill the time (besides posting on Dave's of course)?

Im starting to wish I hadn't found a job in such small town... Rolling Eyes

What small town are you in? We're in Jeomchon. We go somewhere everyweekend. Other than that and posting on Dave's:
email friends
play solitaire on the net
read (brought books with me)
study Korean (but my brain is usually to tired from teaching)
go to the bathhouse
go to yoga class every weekday
go out to lunch with Korean friends
go to the open markets
walk around if it's OK weather
meditate
Margaret

Exercise is my main outlet for boredom. Yeah, after teaching all day it can be tough to drag my arse to the gym, but I always feel like a million bucks afterwards, and I sleep 150% better.

After the gym, I usually try to memorize a Korean phrase or two, then play Xbox or read until I fall asleep. Not the most luxurious lifestyle, but it's a day.

Me too, gym, Korean, computer (no XBox), sleep. Weekend tend to be more exciting though, being not too far from Seoul.

Do you mean a sauna (or hot spring) or does your small town have a very open mind Smile

Unless you are in a really small town, check out the community center. There are art classes for painting, drawing, paduk, Chinese writing, cooking...maybe lots of other things. A side benefit to these--you meet locals.

You can order books if you have run out of what you brought with you. Check out Chiaa's Whatthebook?.
