Hi all,

I'm on the look out for a used laptop. I only want it for basic functions - email, internet, downloading music, photography, skype, office programmes etc, nothing major. I've got about 300,000 to spend.

What I'm after:
- English Windows XP
- 400mhz
- 10 GB+ HDD
- 128 RAM+
- CD-RW/DVD-ROM

A couple of questions:
- is 300,000 realistically going to get me anything with these specs? And would it stretch to getting an iBook (running on the same specs, but with Panther 10.3)?
- would I be better going up to Yongsan?
- is there anything specific I should be on the look out for? I'm going to check out specs and prices on auction etc before buying but just wondered if there's anything glaringly obvious that I'm missing!

I'm firstly a mac user so would really prefer an iBook but realise that my paltry funds may not stretch that far, but I've got disks for Panther, Office and Photoshop if needs be. I'm in Busan so if you know of anywhere in particular to pick up something along these lines or know of anyone selling in the near future, please reply or PM me.

Thanks!

Running XP on anything less than 1ghz 20 GB and 512 ram is a waste of your time.
