Hey there:
I am trying to find a cheap flight from Seoul to either Osaka or Tokyo on around the 25th of March and coming back on or around the 2nd April. I have so far been looking online and haven't come across anything less than 550. Does anyone have the name of an English speaking travel agent or any idea where I could find something a bit more affordable. If so, please drop me a line. Thanks,
Shikha |

Or post here so others that may be interested in this information can also benefit.
This place seems to have some half-decent specials:

I've been keeping my eye on this. There's no cheap way to Tokyo. I feel that there's some price gouging at play (by Korea) because I did fly to Tokyo and found out that the Japanese are paying less than us for the same round trip flight (but originating from Tokyo). I asked a Japanese passenger on my Asiana flight. The lady told me that she had paid 40,000 yen (about 400,000 won) whereas I paid 540,000 won.
I'll bet they price it this way to leave the seats open for visiting Japanese. Brilliant! Korea would rather have Japanese spending their money here than the other way around.
As for Osaka, I saw somewhere that you can get there by ferry boat for less than half of a flight. This of course is good only if you have the time.
Ditto for Fukuoka. There are at least a couple of boats going there. I remember 170,000 for the price round trip.
If you find any sources of cheap flights, please let us know. Good luck! |

Did you try Asiana's English site? Click on "Hot sale" and see if you can find anything there. Apparently you can call the phone number listed on the page and book (in English), rather than doing it online (for the same price). |
