The concept: a weekly podcast about living, teaching in Korea. This isn't meant to teach english. It's a kind of roundtable thing. Three people hunkering down over a laptop and a couple microphones at some quiet location. We riff on teaching, stories about cute things your students do, freaky waegooks, chat on Korean politics.

Risks: You need to give up an hour every Sunday. Pseudonyms would probably be best used with such a podcast.

Rewards: My own Korean blog has about 500 readers and a large number of them would be keen to listen to a podcast version. We'd have an instant audience. You risk becoming a minor podcast celebrity. Women you've never met will listen to you, send you fan email, and maybe revealing photos or Poptarts. If a listener base can be established, the podcast could probably find a sponsor, maybe one of the better recruiters that needs resume churn, and we could eek out a small weekly income.

Me: I've hosted my own comedy radio show that lasted three years. I know the space.

You: In Seoul, funny, you get along with me on Dave's.

Us: High production values, solid writing, humor, not just three guys sitting around a mike shouting "beeeeeeeeeeeeer! show us your boooooobs!" and pretending to be podcast stars.

Message me on Dave's or use my lil email button under my post.

That's okay- you can be Karl Pilkington to his Ricky Gervais.
You'd fit the bill perfectly.
