Last night was my first payday at my hagwon. When school was over, I went into the director's office. He showed me how they calculated the money they were giving me; then he informed me that they did not take any taxes out of my salary--and they didn't. How can they do this? Is this legal? Any comments on this? |

Your assumption is incorrect. I do have an E-2 visa, so I'm working legally. I went to Osaka to get my visa before beginning to work. Also, according to my contract, they are supposed to be paying 50% of my health insurance. |
