1) Man from Atlantis - Patrick Duffy stars as a man with webbed hands. One weird episode had him going to stop Romeo from committing suicide.

2) $1.98 Beauty Contest - A Rip Taylor classic, this show ranks down there as one of the worst TV shows in history.

3) Quark - This sci-fi comedy starring Richard Benjamin lasted just six episodes but is a cult classic.

4) The Quest - four people who are heirs to a kingdom compete to see who will inherit it.

5) We Got It Made - An inside-out version of Three's Company, this show had two guys who hire a hot blonde as their maid. This too was also named one of the worst TV shows in history.

Feel free to add to the list.

The Misfits of Science: four or five people with powers saving the day, so cool

Some show with robert Ulrich in it, he was a cop or something, all I knew was straight after that WWF was on.

The Goodies, old british comedy show.

I remember us kids trying to swim like him, slithering like a snake.
It was fun!
Man, I loved that show.
( I was VERY young).

Fantastic Journey (1977) - A scientific expedition in the Atlantic Ocean becomes lost in the Bermuda Triangle and washes up on an uncharted island. They meet up with travelers from other times, planets and dimensions who have also become trapped, and together they "slide" through portals from one dimension to the next hoping to find the one that leads home.

Kroft Superstars - each episode had a different show ranging from Wonderbug to Electro Woman and Dynagirl with Deidre Hall to Far Out Spacenuts with "Gilligan" Bob Denver.

Thank you, finding the name of that show has been rolling around in my head for a while. 'Gilligan' in a Saturday morning Sci Fi comedy... for the longest time I thought it was just a strange dream I had (probably caused by too much halloween candy or something).

What about:

and Jerry O'Connell in "My Secret Identity"

Really used to love Man from Atlantis, but that takes me back to kindergarten.

Several years ago I watched the Land of the Lost (they were called "sleestacks"!) and another show called (my contribution to this discussion) The Bugaloos (kind of a spinoff on H.R. Puff-n-Stuff) on TV Land.

The Bugaloos.
The Bugaloos.
They're in the air and everywhere...

OK here's another one from my early childhood: The New Zoo Review. With Freddy Frog and Henrietta Hippo.

"Everyday's a different show."

Also from junior high school, there was some ninja show with some old guy and a ninja apprentice. Same year as Night Rider and V, but it apparently didn't make it after season one. There was another show with the psycho "energizer!" muscle-bound guy, driving a mega-semi truck, but it didn't make it past a couple of episodes...

The Master with Lee van Cleef and Vince Van Patten

The Highwayman--with that obnoxious Jocko

Anyone remember Automan with Desi Arnez, Jr.? Premiered the same time as The A-Team but didn't make the cut.

I still pine for "The New Adventures of Beans Baxter" -- a teen spy spoof that rocked my little world. The bad guy was played by that grouchy dad (Red) on That Seventies Show.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092412/
Memorable quotes:
[Beans participates in an exorcism to deal with a spirit way too fond of lounge music.]
Beans Baxter: The power of Elvis compels you! The power of Elvis compels you!

My dad was into a comedy/detective show called "Sledge Hammer!" which I might have enjoyed more if I were old enough.

I loved Sledge Hammer, but I was too young to get all the phallic references to the gun Wink

Bosom Buddies - the TV show that made Tom Hanks famous and left his sidekick, Peter Scolari, in the same class as DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Darkroom - Twilight Zone wannabe hosted by James Coburn that had some good episodes.

Police Squad- Leslie Nielsen was funny in this one, too bad it didn't last long.

Kimba the White Lion, Thundarr the Barbarian, Blackstar, Laffalympics, HR Pufunstuff - Gosh, these Saturday morning kiddie shows bring back memories.

BJ and the Bear - Greg Evigan starred in his signature role as a tractor trailer driver who helps people in his travels with his pet chimp.

The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo - Claude Atkins starred in this BJ and the Bear spinoff about a bumbling sheriff and his equally-inept deputy Perkins.

Hello Larry - McClean Stevenson bomb that was a spinoff of Diff'rent Strokes.

Love, American Style- This show produced the spinoffs Happy Days, which in turn led to the spinoff Laverne and Shirley.

Joanie Loves Chachi- This Happy Days spinoff was the highest-rated TV show in South Korea after people associated the title with a phallic meaning. Scott Baio reportedly earned $30,000 per episode.

Shields & Yarnell - This 1977 mime show lasted only one season.

Family Affair - Brian Keith stars as a man who takes custody of his niece Buffy and nephew Jody.

The Ghost and Mrs. Muir - The lady in this show was a BABE!

Ultraman - Funky Japanese sci-fi series that had a big cult following in the United States.

Square Pegs - This 1980s teen comedy had a valley girl, a punk rocker and Jamie Gertz and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Lost Saucer - Another Kroft Superstars show featuring Ruth Buzzi and Jim Nabors as robots.

Longstreet - 1960s series best known as the TV debut of Bruce Lee. Copies of the episodes with Lee are collector's items.

Shazam, Isis - Two 1970s shows that had little action for a superhero gig.

The White Shadow - Ken Howard played a high school basketball coach.

Pink Lady - Japanese-hosted variety show with some American named Jeff.

That Girl - Remember this one with Marlo Thomas?

Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew - Remember Shaun Cassidy's "Let's Rock and Roll?"
