Metallica killed Napster. I'm on a permanent Metallica boycott.

Me too. I wonder how much are tickets and how hard they'll be to get.

Napster was profitting from the artists work. I dont blame Metallica...if you wrote music and millions got it for free I would be pissed also!! Would you teach for free? Shocked

but Megadeth was a good show also in 99 in seoul.oops forgot about Pantera who was there also in 96.

dont suppose the "unholy alliance 05 tour" featuring Slayer, children of bodom, & lamb of god will in Kr.or even better ozzfest!

only a select few metalheads in kr!

Don't you mean, "Would you teach for a completely absurd amount of money that just happens to be a little less than the completely absurd amount of money that you would make if there were no p2p networks?" The answer? So long as my pay was anywhere near the "completely absurd" amount, I think I'd be ok with it.

Do artists have a right to be pissed because of file sharing? Sure, but they should know better than to expect symphaty from people who's wages are phenomanally less than theirs... especially in an industry where your image moves your product to a great degree. I can just imagine Metallica's PR guy pissing himself when they first started their anti-napster crusade.

I saw them in 86' at Tampa Stadium. Monstors of Rock tour with Dokken, White Snake, White Lion, Scorpians. My mom dropped me off and picked me up.
