I am wanting to chop-up some sound files into smaller bits.
I am also wanting to trim some beginning time off some files. Most of the files are .wav and some are .mp3 (not sure if this makes a difference).
Is there a program that I can purchase or download that will allow me to do this type of simple editing to sound files?
Thanks for any help. |

if you do go with audacity, you need to get the 'lame' mp3 encoder to save files as mp3. just to save you some time. |

EXCELLENT!!!
Thanks guys, just what I was looking for.
I would offer you some of my wine, but pouring it on the keyboards seems such a waste.
Cheers. |
