Does anyone know why shirt tails are longer than the front? I've searched online but I can't find it anywhere. I'm having some shirts made - not really for wearing with ties and suits, but more for going out - and they don't understand when I say that I don't want the tail of the shirt covering my ass....."But all shirts are made this way!"
What's the logic behind it? Because when people sit down, it pulls up the shirt, so it needs to be longer? |
