I just killed one of the nasty little insects in my kitchen. Isn't this a tad early for Korea's mogi season? I know I've never seen them here in March.
Hope this doesn't speak for things to come. |

The last three years they've started in February in my apartment here on the island.
Surprisingly, I haven't seen one yet this year! |

What do you mean already? The damn things never went away. I have seen them year around here in Seoul.
Korean mosquitoes are brutal! |

I'd probably have some already but the big field in front of where I live that had lain around for about a year or two was finally all dug up and a building is being constructed. Noisier than usual but less mosquitoes this time. |

They lived year round in the last apt building I lived in- they get around in the air ducts in the bathrooms.
I even recall reading an article once that Korean scientists had discovered a new species of year-round-living-urban-apt-dwelling mosquito.
I think it was in the Korea Times...
I suppose it could be googled. |
