Do I have a dud calling card or something?
I'm trying to call the US.. I go through all the steps but can't get through.
Afer the Card#password.. it then says to dial 'country code' and 'phone number'..
for the U.S.. its 1.. or is it 01.. or do i need to dial 001 or 011.. prior to the actual number (area code and number). I've tried it all 4 ways.. and nothing seems to work.
Whats the correct procedure on this? |

what kind of calling card are you using? Get the American Eagle card and get over 5 hours for about $10. Just dial the access number...card#, #sign, US phone number and #sign |

found out i have a bad card.. basically its a 1-800# to check credit card balances..
the phone shop took back the old one.. and i got a new one.. it works fine now. (apparently they said they had the problem before with that particular card).
wish i knew the name of that card.. don't have it now.. but not all cards dial 1-800#s back in the U.S. anyways.. |

You can't call some 1-800 #s with cetain Korean calling cards. The card will work with all othet U.S. #'s though.
I get my cards, right now using a card called Marvel, at Pakistani grocery stores like in Itaewon. 15,000 W gets you about 6hrs to U.S.A. This one works okay for 1-800 #s |
