A few years back, I taugh English in Korea for a year. Now, since I'm in school, I'm trying to find something just for the summer....and I don't know where to start. Anyhow, I have many questions, but I don't have time to post them here right now. Here's a few of them:
1. Are there any summer camps that are as early as May?
I've been reading the posts from others here as well as trying to find recruiters and school a that offer camps. They all seem to start in July, but I just wanted to check and see if there are any earlier than that.
2. How can I find a summer camp?
I'm having a hard time just trying to find a recruiter or school for these camps. Do they usually post on the job board here? Any tips?
3. Is it legall possible to get a job for 3 months?
Sadly, my summer break is only 3 months. Still, is it legally possible to get a visa to work 3 months in Korea...or should I just give up now and go with a summer camp?
Thanks guys! |

i know the princeton review had a 3month summer position offering e2 sponsorship, but i think they might've filled the positions already. it's not really teaching english so much as SAT prep, but the three month stint is pretty hard to come by (in my experience) so it might be a nice option.
also, there was another test prep place looking to fill summer positions, and i believe they posted on this board. idon't remember the name of the academy though. |

It's doubtful there would be anything starting in May as the kids are still in school.
I think it's a bit early yet for camps to be posted but keep your eyes open, should be coming soon (on this job board and others).
There are such things as short-term visas for camps so it can be done legally. |
