| It seems like alot of the stores have stopped selling inkjet refill kits. Anyone know of a store that still carries a a good selection? |

I just saw them in Home Plus, for the first time, today. They didn't have them two weeks ago, when I desperately needed one! |

Thanks! I've been meaning to try there. |

| You can get them almost anywhere in Yongsan market, office plus, or a large stationary shop |

My co-workers were talking about this.
It seems the printer companies are putting microchips in their ink cartridges which sense if you have refilled or not. You get a nasty message on your screen giving you a choice to quit printing, or totally void your warranty and lose all software that tells you when ink levels are low. The newest Canon printers do this, as do some Epson and HP printers. They record this information on a flash microchip inside the printer.
They don't want to lose money on the ink refills. I almost bought a new printer, but the ink wells were tiny on most every one. Some online reviews said you can get maybe 20 pages out of the new HP cartridges. Then it will cost you $40 to buy HP replacements (no refilling due to chips). No thanks! I gave up, and decided to use my school's printer instead. |

Some cartridges (like mine) can be reset:

Because of the switch to tiny cartridges, I doubt I'll be buying another HP. |
