What's happened to the vowels in our elementary schools?

First we had that Zack guy spelling 'some' with a 'u' (sum) and now we have this mayonaise guy spelling 'the' with a 'u' (thuh).

Are we going to lose 'a' next? Udum ute un upple und gut thruwn uut uf Udun.

Hmmm...that's not too bad. Maybe we do only need one vowel.

A lot of languages from the north Caucasus make do with two vowels. They usually have about 60-80 consonants though.

Retardation. But why? That's to sort out. Lead in the drinking water back in their college, moronic teachers and professors their whole lives encouraging this, or low IQ? I think it's low IQ, with a dash of narcissism. Seems these types heard of languages "changing" but then fell aseep during the part where they taught HOW a language evolves (and it doesn't involve some ESL teacher deciding he likes "u" as a replacement for "o").
