Hola everyone, Dave may have been successful in switching to a new server last night/today--from what I understand the first attempt failed and some posts/threads were lost Sad

I also lost some pm's I didn't have a chance to respond to.

I received a few pm's asking about the missing threads/posts, so no, the mods weren't messin' wit ya--those threads/posts went to internet heaven while the changeover was being attempted. Sorry about the screw up.

The site should be faster and hopefully without that infernal phpBB error message. There could be some more fine-tuning going on the next few days.

Yay,

it seems much better/faster, a big improvement for sure.
Of course it's unfortunate that there are teething problems and some messages were lost, but that didn't affect me, so I for one am very pleased. Razz
