I know this is an extreme long-shot, but . . . I'm looking for a friend of mine whom I met when I taught in Korea before (2001). I'm now back in Korea, and I can't find her. Her Korean name is Park Chol-Og, and she goes by Grace. She worked at CNN Academy in Inchon in 200-2002. Last I heard, she was preparing to study for her Master's Degree in Seoul. Her e-mail address is no longer valid.
Her father was a minister, and she may attend an English-speaking church. She is (was) a very religious, spiritual, and kind person.
I know this post is ridiculous, and I have a better shot at getting hit by lightning, but Grace was a wondeful friend to me, and I really want to see her again.
If you happen to know of her, please reply or send me a pm. I'll gladly take you out to dinner (or whatever reward would be appropriate).

| Have you considered the possibility her e-mail account hasn't been cancelled, but that it's just routinely blocking all foreign e-mail? |

| No, it's not blocked. I used to keep in contact with her via this e-mail, but now it says no such user. |

Does naver block mail from yahoo/hotmail? anyone know? I know hanmail does.
Does anyone think the korean anti-foreigner email thing is some sort of racist plot? |

| Thank you for your response - you were right. I thought about it, and maybe hanmail had just stopped accepting yahoo mail. So, I borrowed a friend's account, and it worked. Now I've found my friend, and I'm ecstatic. Another triumph for the ever-informative bulletin board. Thanks again.! |
