I've been brainwashed by the Korean educational system that the 63-building is the tallest. Even with three of those 63 floors being underground but still counted. Wouldn't more fitting name be 60-building? |

Unless KLI has built a new one, the first two are the same: KLI 63.
World Trade Center I believe is the official name of what everyone calls the COEX tower at samsung dong:
Interesting proposals here:

The answer to your question is: Samsung Tower Palace 3
I used to love walking and biking along the Yangjaechon to Yangae Citizen's woods- it sounds like it must look really different these days.
My wife says that crappy old 30-pyung UNMA apts (at Numbu ring and Youngdongdae-no, i.e. a just down the road from Tower Palace) are now going for the equivalent of $1.5M CDN.
Edit: Redheaded stranger I guess we're getting our marching orders from the same guy- let's ask Porter for a raise! |

From the co-ex mall entrance one can see an enormous slick tower several blocks away.
Anyone know what monster I'm talking about?
Looks very tall and futuristic. I was in awe. |

After the completion of the rooftop helipad structure last month, Tower Palace Three, Tower G in Seoul South Korea is now the world's tallest all-residential building at 264 m. The title was previously held by New York's Trump World Tower (262 m.).
The 73-storey tower incorporates an innovative design, which features an aerodynamic shaping of the building to tame dynamic wind effects. This aerodynamic treatment not only reduces wind pressure on the building, but also relieves the need of an internal auxiliary damping devices or systems.
The architects and the structural engineers of the project are Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP and Samoo Architects & Engineers. The building will have 610 units, and is scheduled to open January 2004. |

Maybe... I forget, can you see the Monster LG tower (I think it's an LG Tower, on the south side... I know there a slightly older LG tower on the north side) at Yeoksam station if you look west down tehran-no from the corner of Tehran and Youngdondae-no?
There's also the ASEM tower on the other side of the COEX complex... there's so many tall buildings in that area! |

Check out KLI 63 on Google Earth- it looks bizarre, like something seemed to be wrong, maybe with the shadow... it took me a couple of minutes to figure out!
Do you see what I'm talking about?
Then go and find the Ryugong hotel in Pyongyang... |
