Koreans Warned of Canadian Lottery Scam
The National Intelligence Service on Tuesday warned of a lottery scam that has seen increasing numbers of Koreans fall victim to bogus lottery letters or e-mails demanding US$25-100 in membership fees.... "It is estimated that the scammers are cheating some 1,000 Koreans a month out of their money."

| Actually, it would be safe to assume that these emails are in Korean, hence a Korean is involved. |

Just a passing thought- given the Korean penchant for being fleeced, I wonder how many Nigerians have taken up learning Korean?
I guess that's a mean-spirited thought in so many ways... so I guess I'll deserve any flames I get, but that's what crossed my mind as I read this thread. |
