Thanks for the link, this is a pretty cool site. I was a little disappointed when I entered "Dr. Octagon" and got a Busta Rhymes song. |

To register, you have to give them a Zip Code that confirms that you're living in the U.S.
They say that they can only offer the service to people living in the U.S. because of the differing laws of different countries.
After one free listen, you're cut off, and for good. |

It's too late. I'm already cut off, permanently, it seems. |

I thought about bumping that older thread the other day, actually, because I still use Pandora so frequently after several months.
Troll_Bait, did you try registering? After a few songs, you're given an option to register as either a paying user or a free user with ads. |

Before, when it asked for an American zip code and explained why, I gave up without a fight.
As huffdaddy suggested, I deleted my cookies.
When I went back, they "remembered" me, but I was given another chance to register.
So according to them, khyber and I live in the same 'hood.
P.S. I chose the "free w/advertisements" option, as I figure it's a small price to pay for custom-made radio stations.
P.P.S. It seems to get "stuck" in the middle of a song sometimes, in which case I hit the button to go forward to the next song.
P.P.P.S. Yes, it's dope. DOPE !!
Edit:
If you have a laptop computer, and you have outside speakers, you can use both your laptop's speakers and the outside ones if you stick the plug into the headphone's jack very carefully, half-in and half-out.

I've never recieve adverstisments, nor have I had to give them my zip code. I guess I was in early . . . about 7 months ago. |
