I recently sent my documents to Korea using AnPosts 'courier' service. 30 euros, 4-5 working day delivery and a 'track and trace' facility on their website.

Firstly, the 'track and trace' facility doesn't work once the parcel leaves Ireland/England. Secondly, the package took 9 working days to reach Korea and an extra day to reach its destination in Korea. That's two weeks, including weekends.

I phoned AnPost multiple times during the period, only to be told there's an ongoing investigation with their international services department..we'll ring you back at [10 o clock/tomorrow/when we find out the location of the package]. They never rang me back even though I was on to several operators.

So, if you need your documents reliably, accountably delivered to Korea then use DHL, FedEX etc.

It'll cost you extra, but you'll get peace of mind.

In fairness to them they are very polite on the phone, definitely a great service in terms of manners, friendliness etc. I feel bad about writing something negative about them.

Both DHL and Fed Ex took more than 25 days to send my transcripts from Canada to Seoul. I waited another day for them to make it to Ansan City. I paid 40,000 won for this, their "2 business days" pledge.

Fed Ex also lost my mail or took a week or so to deliver it on several occaisions in the U.S. back in the mid '90s. The company refused to honor their promise of reimbursing me in each instance.
