I have an older model handphone, a 011 anycall Samsung that has a B&W screen and is all english language.

I got two "voicemail" notifications today in my Mail Inbox in the same way that I get the little "mail" icon when there's a text message. Whenever I want to read a text message I just scroll down to it and hit "select" (the main "hakin" button in Korean I think) and it displays it. However, when I do that with the voice mail menu and hit "select" it then says "erase messge?" without ever letting me listen to or access the message. How could I access the voice mail message?

dial *86, you'll hear a voice. Type in your secret number (most probably the last 4 digits of your cell phone number), hit 1, and listen.

hmm thanks, but when I tried I got some funny music in the background that ran for about 5 seconds then accompanied by a "busy" signal. No voice. I guess my service doesn't include voicemail (?) since it's an older phone and I don't remember the salesman mentioning voicemail functions... hmmmm... But otherwise if I can get a voicemail icon and notification then probably should be able to access it..

hehe. it worked, thanks. of course all in Korean language, even though I got the messages, didn't know what to select to get rid of the Mail icon, guess I'll hack away at it later when I have time....

oh edit... yah now I remember how to delete the msgs, do it directly from my phone.. I'll hack it later..
