Did you or anyone you know go to the Korn concert last night? If you did, how was it?

I went to the Korn concert last night. It wasn't sold out, but the band put on one hell of a show. The band played for about 2 hours and the crowd was intense, those of you were in the mosh-pit know what I am talking about.

Korn was my first concert since arriving in Korea. I was impressed at the Korean crowd. Many knew the lyrics to most of the songs and were not afraid to do a little crowd surfing.

For those who never went to Korn. All I can say is, you missed a great f**king concert.

I went, but purely for the nostalgia, and the novelty of it being in Korea. Plus, I've only been here a couple of months and it was the first time getting together with a good friend who has been here for a year. So we bought tickets in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek manner, having sensibly had no interest in Korn for about a decade. In the end, however, it was a pleasant surprise and turned into a great night. Mostly older songs, with SEVEN off the debut album (admittedly some of those were in a silly 'medley'). When anything more recent and smelly started up, a well judged run to the 7/11 for more beer was required. Overall it was quite a stripped down gig, no big silly theatrics (apart from some pointless backing musicians), and really good sound. I might go dust off that debut album after all!
