I want to look for a new job as I get paid less than everyone i have met, live in a pretty boring area and finish work after dark so cant get anywhere more exciting (i will give them notice). so want to look for a public school, more central that pays more! I know where to look and there are plenty going. I was just wondering if it is worth finishing the contract early (very early) just for these things? and what would happen about the visa and stuff?

It's time to get out your contract and read the section about quitting very carefully, and follow it to the letter. You are going to have to convince your present boss to write a Letter of Release that will allow you to get another job. These are not always easy to get, especially if you piss off the person who has to give it to you.

Without this LOR you will not be allowed to get a different job until your present visa expires (look on your ARC for the exact date).

The public school year started at the beginning of last month. I haven't looked at the job ads, so I don't know if they are still accepting for this term. If not, they will be accepting for the next semester which starts in August.

To be honest, I don't see anything seriously wrong with your present job in your post. You knew the salary there and at other places when you accepted the job, and you knew the work schedule. In spite of that, you took the job. Now you're bored. Getting a hobby would be easier than changing jobs.
