|
|
I'm not sure if cable industry in Korea is localized into cities and towns but I was just wondering which areas in Seoul have the best selection of cable channels. I'm not talking about satellite, just basic cable.
For example, when living in Pundang for a short time, I could view AFN, BBC, CNN, and OnStyle.
For me, the neighborhood that decide to live is concurrent to my viewing habits.
That being said, if you get the aforementioned networks and you live in Seoul, what part of Seoul do you live? |

TURN ON , TUNE IN , DROP OUT................
Or as one other social commentator said, "stick a fork in his ass, turn him over, he's done....."
Call me a troll , just don't call me an ogre or an oggler or someone entertaining himself to death (thank you Mr. Postman).
If reality is too much for you, get married, just not to cable....

I don't live in Seoul, but (having stayed in various hotels/motels...) I think the area near Jongno samga/Insa-dong has those stations on regular cable. (Since regular cable is so cheap, I would just find a location that has AFN, and you could pay for the other channels you want from Sky TV (or another satellite company...) |

Dear oh dear Matthew....
You put a banal question about living in Korea, which wouldn't raise anymore than a few informative and polite replies in General Discussion, into the Off-topic forum. |

Thanks, Eamo. You pointed out a small blunder.
It is true, however, that cable services vary from region to region, city to city, even if you are a few city blocks apart. So, Deub ('Dweeb' couldn't resist) you're not much help.
My job only provides key money and a monthly stipend for rent and does not service arranged housing here in Seoul so this go around it's on my own. I've taught here already for a few years so I know Kyeonggi-do/Seoul pretty well.
This is a valid question to ask board users even if it is positioned in the wrong forum. And I do happen to be a sort of slight couch potato. |
