I left Seoul at the end of May, 2005, after teaching there for about ten months. When I went to the pension office they told me that half of my pension would be sent to me immediately, but that the other half would be delayed, since my boss hadn't been putting the money in for it. The person I spoke with was very friendly, apologetic, and gave me an e-mail address to contact the office. After returning to the States I did get the first check--for half my pension--but never received the second. It's been almost a year now. I've written several times to the address I was given, but have never gotten a reply. I've pretty much accepted that I'll never see this money (about $600), but I was curious if anyone else had experienced this or could suggest any recourse--short of flying to Korea and taking my previous boss to court. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
