Bought before I came to Korea last year, this is the latest revision of the PowerBook G4. This little baby has served me well, and it pains me to sell it, but I'm heading out on an extended trip, and I just don't feel right shoving it in the backpack!
In excellent condition, it is loaded with all available extras, and comes with a Timbuk2 carrying case and an extra battery. I'm asking 2.1 million won. Contact me at [email protected] or by private message.
1.67GHz PowerPC G4
Upgraded 128MB graphics memory
2GB RAM
100GB hard drive with sudden motion sensor
8x SuperDrive (DVD-R/CD-RW)
AirPort Extreme (wireless)
Bluetooth
Gigabit ethernet, Firewire 800/400, USB 2.0
Backlit Keyboard
Many, many software titles

This is a nice computer -- even though Apple doesn't make it anymore (only 12" and 17"), but the price is way out of line for a used computer that has no warranty and is dramatically inferior to the current model.
The new MacBook Pro, with Intel Duo Core processor, is five times as fast as the old G4, has a screen that is 67% brighter, includes a built in I-sight camera, comes with remote and Front Row presentation software, and a one-year warranty -- all for less money than your proposed 2.1 mil.
I'd think something around 1.2 would be more reasonable, if you really want to sell. |

I think you need to look a little more carefully at the price of the MacBook Pro I don't think you can find one even in the neighbourhood of 2.1 million.....
Anyway, I checked the prices on eBay to get a feeling for the going rate, and my price is in the ball park, especially considering I upped the RAM to the max 2GB, and opted for the increased video RAM this machine can drive the 30" cinema display without any trouble! True it is not Intel, but this is the PowerBook at its absolute best. I'm open to talk price if anyone is serious about their interest. Thanks! |
