I will keep this simple. I went to the Internatinal Clinic at Yongdong Severance hospital and they set me up with a Korean doctor in the hospital. His treatment made my condition worse and I've been in excruciating pain so I called a doctor in the US and found out that what he did, what should have been a minor procedure, was not only the wrong course of action but it is well established that the problems I suffered are a direct result of his treatment. I have called him repeatedly and finally went to another hospital here where they spoke to him and told me the pain would last from two to six months. Initially he told me it would last for a day at the most. Right now he is covering lies with more lies. I had to call the US Embassy to get him to turn over my medical records and when I got them they were unreadable for the most part. That is the extent the Embassy is willing to do. I am lucky that what he did to me is reversible. He should have given me a prescription that would have cost a lot less. I do not want to sue him, what I am asking is if there is some agency here I can report him to so he won't be able to do this to someone else. |
