Well I'm looking for a new school job and I thought it'd be cool to have an online portal for the kids to log into to have some fun with English.
I'm trying to come up with ideas for them to enjoy. So far I have
Extra materials on past lessons (more vocab, worksheets)
Extra work, unrelated to lessons
Stories, scanned or written up (either entire short stories or a page at a time of long stories)
Mysteries/ Logic puzzles
Riddles/ Dingbats
I am thinking of offering extra credit for any kids who complete these tasks, getting faux money for a goodie auction at the end of each month.
Now my programming ability is literally zero, I'm looking at doing this using Homestead. I doubt it'll be pretty but I'll try my best. With my lack of computery knowledge taken into account can anyone provide suggestions on what else might be enjoyed (Its looking increasingly like I'll be at a girls middle school).
Thanks |

I get my students to write their diary on the school's English Zone. I correct it and give out some points. Also there is a question and answer section and a photo section where pics from the class find their way in their. Also their homework is placed there everyday in case they forget!! |
