Does anyone here live around SNU?
- How far is it from a major shopping place? (or other places)
- How are rent in that area?

I don't know a great deal about the SNU area but far worse locations exist...
The major positive to living in that area is that you're on Line 2 which is the busiest circular subway line... you're 6 stations from Gangnam, 9 from Samseong (and the Co-Ex Mall)... Hongdae, Sinchon and Itaewon are within reasonable distance (IMO)
I mean, I'm based around Garak Market, South East Seoul and I'm a lot further than you will be from those regions and I'm having a wicked time thus far... sure, it's a bit of a journey at times but I know that if I was too near Itaewon or Hongdae then the hedonism and debauchery wouldn't be confined to my weekend... and hey, taxis are cheap and the subway super efficient besides the long-ass transfer walks at some stations... |
