Hi Everyone!

Does anyone know anything about Daechi SISA Language Institute? Any comments whatsoever about it?

That was my first job in Seoul in 1998.

It is just a normal, run of the mill Hakwon job. Pays on time, boring as hell, unrewarding, etc.

If it is a first job, it's OK. We used to live in the Jamsil Ju-Gong Apts which have been demolished, so I don't know where they are housing the teachers now.

If Mr. Shin is still running it, he's a pretty stand-up guy. But it's a business, you are hakwon teacher for kindy or elems and the benefits, work standard, etc. are what should be expected for such a position.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is Mr. Shin a nice and understanding supervisor? Why was your experience not rewarding? Is 1.9 million won per month for 100 hours descent?
