For all those leaf fans out there one of which I am not, you will have hope of seeing your team in the playoffs next season.
The management finally fired useless coach Pat Quinn, why they didn't do it earlier in the year I dont know. |

Useless coach? You sound like a typical Leafs fan, little knowledge of the game or anything hockey related not involving your team.
Pat Quinn took the leafs from a mediocre team to a playoff contender in a few seasons. The leafs made the postseason all but twice under Pat Quinn I believe. The guy was hand picked to coach Team Canada, the gold winning team, at the 2000 Olympics.
The biggest mistake the leafs made was hiring John Furguson. I agree someone had to go after this season and maybe that somebody had to be the coach. But if it weren't for Pat Quinn, the leafs would be in a lot worse shape than they're in now. |
