These estimations are based on a few bonuses I'd have, such as being able to stay at my sister's house close to Vancouver and having a few vehicles I could borrow (though probably not for a whole week) and having some relatives and friends who'd be happy to have us over for dinner / a bbq. It's also possible we'd be able to get a discount on airfare (for the end of July) but I want to estimate towards the higher end of things. Oh and the trip is for one week. Is there anything major I'm missing here?

Canada Trip Cost Estimations

1. Twelve return airline tickets: W19,800,000
2. Minivan rental, 3 days: W180,000
3. Car rental, 3 days: W120,000
4. Fuel: W200,000
5. 6 Restaurant meals: W920,000
6. Groceries: W300,000
7. One night hotel in Victoria: W200,000
8. Return ferry passage to Swartz Bay: W276,000
9. Sites and exhibitions: W1,000,000

Total estimated cost for 10 students and 2 teachers: W22,996,000

I would add about 10% for Murphy's laws and you should be OK... better to have too much and give a refund than to come up short later...

Most hotels will only allow 4 guests in a room and sometimes only 3. So you would probably count on having to get four or more rooms at least in Victoria.

Just wondering, are the students minors? What kind of paperwork would you need?
